Royal-Rose-DachshundRoyal Rose Dachshunds fell in love with Dachshunds after adopting a rescue, Violet, our first. Violet was compassionate, loved going places, and made a wonderful companion. After 20 years of breeding Dachshunds, Royal Rose Dachshunds has found these qualities to be true hallmarks of the breed.

Royal Rose Dachshunds has striven to improve the breed by selecting sires and dams that have shortened the puppies’ backs to address spinal flaws and filtered out the bow-legged confirmation.

Royal Rose Dachshunds now carefully imports Dachshunds from Europe that are heavy boned, have lovely dispositions and influence the confirmation changes in our breeding program.

In the show ring our Dachshunds are proving our success. While the competition is important, our equal goal is to provide well rounded pets.
Our program includes all varieties of miniature Dachshunds including the wire haired, long haired and smooth coated. We produce all color spectrums.

We have trained with the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Military Working Dog (MWD) program. The DHA oversees canine health, performance, and medical research while collaborating to improve MWD veterinary research, neuromuscular training, and handler knowledge.

With this training, we have all puppies introduced to the MWD protocol to promote a healthy immune system, optical improvement and behavioral training beginning at 3 weeks of age.

Many of our dogs are now trained service dogs having benefited from the DHA training and the temperament the program produces.

Royal Rose Dachshunds enjoys their returning clientele who often come for their 2nd and 3rd Dachshunds. Each puppy comes with a vet check and vet report, all age appropriate vaccinations through the date of pickup, worming and a 30 day health insurance policy.

Our commitment to our puppies does not end when they leave for their forever homes. We are always available for any questions and offer ongoing support to help your new family member.
